It is not enough just for librarians to know how to use a blog. We should find out how we can introduce a blog to our patrons so that they understand its functions and characteristics. For example, I have showed two nurses how to create a Google email account for access to Blogger and how to create a blog to meet their individual need. One nurse uses her blog to plan a nursing conference with her committee members. Another nurse who is responsible for my hospital Magnet Statu application uses her blog to communite with and educate the nursing staff at the hospital about the 14 forces.
Nurses can also create a blog to reach out to patients who receive home care due to chronic diseases. Educational and fun activities can be created for teenagers; support groups for patients and parents/families can form on a blog. Speaking of evidence-based training by residency programs, residents can use a blog for online journal club. There are many ways to use a blog...

Application of Web 2.0 Technologies
The purpose of the blog is to create a venue for discussing the application of Web 2.0 technologies in instructional design of library information literacy training. The blog is also intended for librarians to share ideas and experiences on how to help their patrons integrate the technologies into teaching of learners in many settings.
